Dubai

Hello!! We have now completed our first two days of the conference so far. We have already visited a lot of places (Mosque, beach, market, malls). The food is really good so far. The first place we went we had to eat the food we ordered with our hands, chicken and rice have never been so messy. The highlight so far has been the water taxi ride and our desert safari last night where we got to ride on camels. We also got to see one of the only 7 star hotels in the world, which was very nice especially since it was on the beach. We are all enjoying ourselves and looking forward to the remaining time we have here. Hope it's not too cold back home! (it's 80 degrees here lol) here are a few pics:

    Josh, I take it y'all aren't STAYING at the 7-star hotel!

    Also, were the men and women in your party segregated at any point while touring the mosque?

    Also, keep the photos coming, but try to tell us what we're looking at. For example, what's that interesting building in the bottom photo?

    And may we assume, again in reference to the bottom photo, that the public laws about women's attire in Dubai are more relaxed than the ones in, say, Saudi Arabia?
