We departed early today for the American University of Sarjha where we toured the campus. We also had a key-note speaker on international leadership, who was very critical of the world leaders at this time. We also held a panel discussion on the culture of the United States. Marina, Bobbie, and me, as well as Demetrius (from north carolina) and Rachel (from pennsylvania) discussed our experiences living in the States and try to refute any misconceptions people may have. We did have comments and questions relating to the ignorance and arrogance that people from other countries perceive we have, and we did our best to answer those. We are visiting a museum at the university now, and we still have a lot of other activities planned for today. Here are some more pics:
