Faculty Research

Hello!

So has anyone wondered what their professors are up to besides grading course work? I've been wondering about this. Individuals who spend years of study have to have additional aspirations other than those involving sharing their information with us. These exploits are not only important to our professors but also important in their respective fields of study. In other words, they're research is important to students in more ways than one and deserve the spot light.

The main questions I'll be answering are who is researching what, when do they do it, how do they do it, and why do they do it. Other topics of inquiry will involve how faculty research is funded, who and what benefit from the research, and if other universities do the same kind of research. For this semester I'll be inserting myself into our professors already busy schedules to find out all of the fantastic things they're up to.
