Off Campus Living: Where yo start
Deciding whether to live on or off campus is a difficult decision. If you do decide to live off campus, this is where you start. First, you have to decide if living off campus is for you. Now, you will be in charge of putting bills in your name, buying food, and maintaining a house or an apartment instead of a dorm room. Second, you have to decide where you would like to live. Is Main Street too far? Is Wood Street just right? You have to choose a specific location and take into account the walk during winter. Third, you have to visit the different locations to talk to the landlords about pricing, move in dates, parking, and all other off campus related questions. Once you have done that, you have to make sure your financial aid will cover your stay off campus. While living off campus is cheaper, some financial aid could be retracted. To wrap it all up, make sure you get all the information you can before you decide to live off campus. Don’t jump into this decision. Be patient.
