So much about “SEX” is common, repeated and just plain “DUH”! Mostly everyone knows about the birds and the bees, just like we know that from sex can come babies, STDs, STIs (insert boredom here), HIV, and a lot of crazy emotions. Yea, but what about the things we don’t readily make connections with sex, or the things we know are there, but are too “taboo” or weird to explore out loud?

I want to find out what students really think about sex—and what they really know or don’t know. Topics such as long term mental and physical health issues, reputations, obesity, suicide and untimely death don’t seem to come up as much in general discussions of sex although maybe they should. Maybe they’re even more exciting or scary than the things we already know?
