With the Halloween in full swing, many people have plans this weekend involving costume parties or trick-or-treating, whether for themselves or for their little ones. Here, three ladies from various areas throughout south central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland talk about their plans and what they enjoy most about Halloween.
Carolyne Frycke of Pricedale, PA enjoys the Halloween season for the pumpkins and parades. This Halloween, she plans to attend a costume party as Glinda the Good Witch.
Tasha Bowers of Bedford, PA is excited to take her one-year-old daughter, Claudia, trick-or-treating this weekend. Bowers will not be dressing up for the occasion, but Claudia will be going as a ballerina. Bowers says her favorite part of Halloween is the decorations.
Jen Stevens of Libertytown, MD, a senior English/creative writing major at FSU, plans to attend a costume party this weekend as Gryffindor Quidditch player, Ginny Weasley, from the Harry Potter series. Her favorite parts of Halloween are Gothic decorations and horror films.
