Brandon Kelly, a Junior, exercise and sports science major here at Frostburg State University shares his love and appreciation for the FSU academic advising. "I think the advising here is very beneficial." Kelly, explains how it has really benefited him when he says "It's helped me a lot, especially with passing English class and other major assignments that involved writing essays and what not." With that said, Brandon Kelly's experience with the academic advising here at FSU has been very successful, and he would not change any thing about it.
Former Frostburg student Ryan Myrick, shares with me that, unfortunately, he will be working this upcoming Halloween and wont be able to dress up. But after asking about his favorite part about Halloween, he shared "sitting in my house and watching scary shadows." It looks like Ryan wont be missing out completely on Halloween this year, since he has creepy shadows in his home.
While a lot of students automatically think about partying when it comes to homecoming weekend, some actually see it as more of an opportunity to get involved. Sarah Kuhn, a senior early childhood/elementary education major did just that. "I am a student alumni ambassador," Kuhn said, "directing alumni and welcoming them to campus, also Friday I went to lunch with alumni and talked to them for my ambassador program." Kuhn took advantage of the opportunities to get involved around the time most students don't.
